A Potential Match Between Pakistan and India at LA28
If both teams qualify, the ICC’s blueprint provides plenty of opportunity for thrilling games, such as India vs. Pakistan. We are awaiting the final qualification details and the global qualifier structure.
The ICC also acknowledged the growing popularity of women’s cricket and confirmed that there would be 28 matches in both the men’s and women’s divisions at LA28, each featuring six teams. This action expands cricket’s reach outside conventional markets and represents a significant turning point in the sport’s internationalisation.
