India vs Australia 4th Test Day 3 Pitch Report
There is extra bounce in the pitch and the cracks have widen up. But it is still a good one to bat on. If the batsmen can play the shot with confidence, they will get value for their shots. Same goes for the bowlers. If they can exploit the new ball and pitch it in the right areas, a few quick wickets are there for the taking. The pitch is dry but nothing that can bamboozle the batsman.

When I started covering cricket I must confess I didn't imagine I would see the last two balls @y_umesh bowled to Renshaw.

1229 hrs IST: Karun Nair is having a horror of a Test match. Drops Warner off Bhuvneshwar, again. Similar to the first innings drop. At third slip. Rahane at gully tried catch it off the rebound but can’t

1215 hrs IST: Australian openers out in the middle for the second innings. They trail by 32 runs. India will start with Bhuvneshwar Kumar with the ball
A difficult phase in this Test match. Australia will fancy their chances to win this match as they are not behind by a huge margin. But if India can trigger a collapse, who knows?
That is Lunch in Dharamsala. India looked to take a good lead against Australia but four wickets in the final half-hour pulled things back for them. Only 32-run lead for India and Australia will be relieved that it is just 32
1126 hrs IST: Last few overs have been erratic. Jadeja with that aggressive innings then India lose three wickets in the space of 13 balls. Final pair out in the middle
1118 hrs IST: WICKET! Steve Smith has pulled off an absolute stunner at slips to get rid off Saha. Pat Cummins has another wicket. A lethal bouncer from Cummins and Saha tried to duck with his eyes off the ball. Lobs it up and Smith times his jump to perfection to take a very good catch
1115 hrs IST: WICKET! Bhuvneshwar Kumar fails to open his account and is caught at slips off O’Keefe. Bhuvi tries to drive the delivery but is away from it. Smith takes a sharp catch to his right. India 8 down
1108 hrs IST: WICKET! Ravindra Jadeja plays on! Cummins rewarded for some good bowling. Jadeja was expecting a bouncer and sitting on the heel. Cummins follows a bouncer with a good length delivery. Jadeja throws himself at it with no feet movement.
32 isn't a huge lead but could come in very handy in a close game. Both sides will be okay with the session.

1047 hrs IST: After seeing off the early overs, Saha and Jadeja are now picking some easy runs. No need to panic for them. Australia frustrated
1041 hrs IST: India trail by only nine runs and they have four wickets in hand. A lead can be very crucial for India. Saha and Jadeja know that
1030 hrs IST: First hour of the day done and India will happily take it. They have added 37 runs this morning and are 285 for the loss of six wickets. Trailing by only 15 runs
1026 hrs IST: An excellent start from India today. Saha and Jadeja doing exactly what India needed. Also, the DRS is back. Tech issues solved. Hazlewood to continue
1021 hrs IST: A bit of chat between Jadeja and Australian fielders. Umpire has to intervene. Nothing intense but enough to unsettle Jadeja. Lyon to continue
1012 hrs IST: Four off the final delivery and India have moved on to 279 for the loss of six wickets and India trail by a mere 21 runs now
1009 hrs IST: 1000 Test runs for Wriddhiman Saha. 50-run stand between Jadeja and Saha. India steady this morning and still going

0910 hrs IST: Ravindra Jadeja will be key batsman for India as they will need some runs from him. Saha can play long but can Jadeja stay on the crease?
