Indian Super League, which is going to be the biggest tournament in the Indian sports, is also expected to be a fiercely fought battle between a total of 10 teams and there is not even a single franchise that is leaving a single stone unturned to gather the best pool of talent and enter the tournament with a perfect squad.
As far as Delhi Dynamos are concerned, the two time-semifinalists of the Indian Super League are concerned, since deciding to start their ISL 2017-18 campaign with an all new squad, have signed a more than a couple of big foreign players like Argentine Striker Juan Leandro Vogliotti and Gabriel Cichero, and now they have added even more firepower to their squad with a dual signing in a single day.
Dutch forward Guyon Fernandez and Spanish full-back Edu Moya are the latest additions to the Delhi Dynamos squad for the Indian Premier League 2017/18 campaign, and are expected to support both the front line as well as the defense, respectively.
Delhi Dynamos’ Head Coach, Miguel Angel Portugal, during the official unveiling said,
“I am delighted to welcome Guyon Fernandez and Edu Moya to the club. While Moya comes with a huge amount of experience, having played in the Spanish top division, his presence in the Delhi Dynamos squad will definitely come in handy this season. Guyon Fernandez, meanwhile will bring goals to our side. His signing adds further firepower to the attacking line-up of the team.”

While 31-year old Guyon Fernandez, joins Delhi Dynamos after completing his second stint at Dutch Eredivisie side ADO Den Haag, the 36-year-old, Edu Moya joins from Spanish 3rd division side CP Cacereno and will bring an enormous amount of experience for the Indian Super League franchise.
Born in Netherlands, Guyon Fernandez went onto represent Curacao in the International circuit and played in the 2014 Caribbean Cup, followed by a call up from the then head coach Patrick Kluivert for playing in the World Cup Qualifiers. The striker, in 2007, started his professional career with ADO Den Haag, before playing with the likes of Excelsior, Feyenoord and NAC Breda in the Dutch top division as well as the Perth Glory in the Australian League.
