Virat Kohli is now the leading run-scorer in the IPL history.
Virat Kohli has added yet another feather to his coloured cap as he now becomes the Indian Premier League’s all-time highest scorer. The Royal Challenger Bangalore‘s skipper has overtaken Chennai Super Kings’ Suresh Raina who was leading the charts for quite a while and has added another feat to his glorious list of accolades.
Not to forget, he is also the only player in the IPL to get 5000 franchise runs for the same team. A staggering performance so far in the Indian Premier League and the skipper is all game for any challenge.
Virat Kohli has now scored 4619 runs in 153 matches. He averages 38.17 runs per game with a strike rate of 130.33. He has registered 32 half-centuries in the IPL along with four centuries.
RCB is struggling this season and has won only one game out of their opening four games. Virat Kohli tried to save his team against MI and played a brilliant inning of 92 runs, but all his efforts went in vain as he didn’t get the perfect partner to build the innings.
In the 153 matches he has played, Kohli has smashed 4565 runs in 145 innings. The all-time highest scorer also has the most centuries to his name in the IPL, scoring 4 tons. With the highest score of 113 and a scintillating strike rate of 129.87, the RCB skipper is nowhere close to slowing down. He also has 32 fifties to his name where he has hammered 399 fours and 163 sixes.
