Mohamed Salah is to bring the curtain down on his illustrious career with Liverpool FC at the end of the 2025-26 season.

Salah said that because he respects and is grateful to his followers, he wanted to make this declaration as soon as possible to be transparent about his future.

The Egyptian is currently third on the Reds’ all-time top goalscorers record with 255 goals in 435 games, and he has won the Premier League Golden Boot four times.

The 33-year-old, who will depart the Reds at the end of the current campaign, joined Anfield from Roma in 2017 and has made 435 appearances for Liverpool, scoring 255 goals to rank third among the team’s all-time top scorers. Salah has won two Premier League crowns, a Champions League, an FA Cup, and two Carabao Cup medals during his time on Merseyside.
