It is time to talk about the players who played for both Spanish rivals – Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Check out our list of top five players who have played for both Barcelona and Real Madrid in their career.
4) Luis Enrique:
Real Madrid, 1991-96 and Barcelona, 1996-04
Luis Enrique is the only player in this list who has moved directly from Real Madrid to FC Barcelona. He has moved to Madrid in 1991 and spent 5 seasons at the Bernabeu, scoring 18 times in his 213 appearances for the club.
Enrique won the Copa del Rey in 1993 and La Liga two years later with Los Blancos, before moving to their bitter rivals on a free transfer.
His career at Barcelona was amazing, as the playmaker played 300 games for the club and netted over 100 times. He won seven titles at Camp Nou, including two Spanish Championships and one UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup.

3) Ronaldo:
Barcelona – 1996-97 and Real Madrid 2002-07
Ronaldo spent only one season at FC Barcelona scoring an incredible 47 goals in 49 games and became the youngest player ever to win FIFA World Player of the Year at the age of 20. He moved to Inter in 1997, before signing for Real Madrid following the 2002 FIFA World Cup, where we saw the very best from himself.
The striker was the top scorer of the competition, winning it for Brazil with two goals in the final against Germany. Barcelona’s fans did not make his move to Madrid as bad as Figo’s betrayal, probably because Ronaldo spent only one year at the Camp Nou.
Ronaldo was crowned as the league’s top scorer playing for both teams, winning El Pichichi in 1997 with Barcelona and in 2004 with Real Madrid. He is probably the best player ever to be loved at both Bernabeu and Camp Nou.
2) Luis Figo
Barcelona, 1995-2000 and Real Madrid, 2000-05
Luis Figo was an incredible talent who was loved at the Camp Nou, since his arrival in Barcelona in 1995. He played 249 games for the Catalans and scored 45 goals, leading his club to two La Liga titles in 1998 and 1999.
His performances against Real Madrid boosted him to legendary status at Barcelona, but it all ended in the year 2000 when he moved to their biggest rivals in one of the most controversial transfers in the history of football.
The Portuguese spent 5 years at the Bernabeu and won the Champions League in 2002 with the famous Galacticos. He is still the most hated man in Barcelona.

1) Michael Laudrup
Barcelona, 1989 to 1994
Denmark’s greatest footballer of all times played for Barcelona from 1989 to 1994, is one of the stars of Johan Cruyff’s “dream team”.
Laudrup was excellent for Barca and won four consecutive La Liga titles, along with the European Cup in 1992, which was the first one in the history of the club.
During the 1993-94 season, Cruyff decided to bench Laudrup for most of the year, so that he could make newly signed Brazilian striker Romário play.
