Jürgen Klopp has confirmed LFC are set to bring in fresh legs for Sunday’s EmiratesFACup.
If we look at the way Liverpool is progressing in the ongoing English Premier League, the 30-year-long wait to win a major title seems to have been a little too much for Jurgen Klopp and his men at the club. They are rushing through the league in a manner that they want the title today itself!
Not just that, the team has had the best ever start in a football season, throughout the top five leagues of Europe. Their recent 1-0 win over Tottenham was their 20th win from 21 games they have played so far in the league this season. Their only draw (1-1) came against Manchester United in October 2019.
Considering the stunning run they have had so far, everyone betting on soccer these days is getting behind them heavily and placing large bets on their future prospects. The brilliance of their streak can be gauged from the fact that their last loss in the league came on January 3, 2019, a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester City, which ultimately cost them 2019 EPL title despite having scored 97 points!

Ever since that game, they have won 33 matches, drew 5 and have collected a total of 104 points. In the process, they also won the Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and the Champions League more focused on the summer Talking to the press recently, Jurgen Klopp stressed that a team never gets anything for having had a good start in the season except numbers.
He insisted that the only thing they’re interested in right now is where they can reach during the summer. With the pace that they are going right now, they might very well wrap up the title race before the end of the spring!
The team has a 16 point lead over Leicester City, the second-placed side on the table, with a game less than the latter. Klopp further stated that the league is not done as yet since they’re yet to play several strong opponents. And that they can start talking about it only after they have so many points that they are unreachable. However, right now it seems more about when, and not if, as far as Liverpool’s Premier League championship win is concerned.

The quality of oppositions makes Liverpool’s supremacy even more remarkable. The quality of oppositions that Liverpool is playing these days only proves their claim as one of the best clubs in English football history. To put things into perspective, all the four finalists of the Europa League and Champions League last season were from Premier League.
All the seven English teams taking part in the European competition this time have made it to the knockout stages already. Manchester City had set a new record with a 100 point season back in 2017-18, however, Liverpool is all set to beat that record by a healthy margin.
