Partizan Belgrade’s 18-year-old Serbian defender Strahinja Pavlovic has had a medical at Monaco, according to Sportski Zurnal.
It is thought the principality side could pay a fee of €10 million (£8.6m/$11.1m) for Pavlovic, with further performance-based add-ons.
Pavlovic, a Serbia youth international, would likely stay with Partizan on loan until the end of the season.
Jose Mourinho is considering a move for free agent Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to the Telegraph.
The pair enjoy an excellent working relationship, with the Swede previously having played for the new Tottenham boss at both Inter and Manchester United.
Ibrahimovic would likely serve as a backup to Harry Kane, with Spurs yet to replace former understudy Fernando Llorente after he left over the summer.

“Well it wouldn’t be a bad solution,” Calderon told Sky Sports News. “I know that Jose wanted him. I remember him saying in 2017 that if Bale was in the exit door, he will be waiting for him on the other side.
“He tried to sign him for Man United but at the time he saw his contract extended at Real Madrid. But now is a different moment and maybe.”
