ISL 2018-19 Points Table, results, standings. The Standings in the league are updated after every match.
Indian Super League (ISL) will enter its fifth season starting September 29 – earlier than the November start to the fourth edition – won by Chennaiyin FC. The season gets underway at the Salt Lake Stadium with ATK taking on Kerala Blasters.
A day later, defending champions Chennaiyin travels to Bengaluru in a stiff contest and a repeat of last year’s final. For the second season running, ISL will feature ten teams after the introduction of Bengaluru FC and Jamshedpur FC last season.
After releasing fixtures for only 2018 matches, the league released the rest of the league stage fixtures. The league went on a break during the AFC Asian Cup to give the Indian team a chance of getting ready for the tournament in UAE – where they eventually finished bottom of Group A.
The league got back underway on January 25 for the reverse fixtures after the lengthy break. In total, there have been three breaks through the course of the season.
