FC Goa are trying to attack but to no avail. ATK are holding on to the ball more. Goa manager Zico is looking frustrated on the touchline and one really can’t blame him. His team have been second best in all departments in this match.

The corner that Goa dealt with a poor manner. The ball finally went outside the area but Doutie sweetly caught it and shoots a goal from the plenty area.

During the end of the first half Atletico de Kolkata had a few very good chances and they could very easily have been two or three goals up and Goa need to find a way to get their defence together if they hope of getting anything out of this match.

51′ RED CARD:Stephen Pearson (ATK)

Both ATK and Goa had started the half shabbily and quite with a few tackles. Pearson’s challenge was one that knocked his victim off his feet. There was no way Pearson could have got to the ball and it was ended with a rash challenge. The referee gave a straight with a  red card. Atletico de Kokata team down to 10 men players.

Two red cards and a controversial penalty decided the game and that always leaves a one with a bad taste after the match.
