In addition to tighter integration into Man City’s wider ecosystem, the 17,000-square-foot facility has gyms, medical and rehabilitation sections, and locker rooms. Charlotte O’Neill, managing director, stated, “This building is about so much more than bricks and mortar.”It is about establishing an atmosphere where our players can flourish, where the highest standards are set, and where the current team has all it needs to keep competing and winning trophies.
One of the biggest investments in a dedicated women’s football environment is the facility. Even her experience at eight-time European winners OL Lyonnes was surpassed, according to club captain Alex Greenwood, who described it as the ideal space for a women’s squad.
After moving into the facility a few weeks ago, the women’s team gathered in the new lounge area to witness Arsenal’s 1-1 draw with Brighton, confirming Manchester City’s victory in the 2025–2026 WSL.
