Here is the list of the players who are shortlisted for the player of the season 2024-45:
1) Ryan Gravenberch (Liverpool)
Under new manager Arne Slot, Ryan Gravenberch has been one of Liverpool’s most impressive players. According to club icon Steve Nicol, the Reds would not have been at the top of the Premier League table without the Netherlands midfielder.
After joining Anfield from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023, Gravenberch struggled with consistency and was in and out of Jurgen Klopp’s starting lineup during the previous campaign.
2) Erling Haaland (Manchester City)

Haaland started the 2024/25 season in devastating fashion, scoring hat-tricks in victories over Ipswich Town and West Ham United as part of a run of ten goals in five games – the quickest anyone has ever reached double figures in the Premier League.

3) Cole Palmer (Chelsea)
Palmer’s remarkable season has resulted in him being nominated for all three EA SPORTS Player of the Month awards, the only contender to have done so, as well as winning the honour in September. In only his second season as a first-team regular in the Premier League, 22-year-old Palmer has been instrumental in Chelsea’s remarkable early performances and results, which have placed them third in the standings.
Palmer also netted one and assisted three goals in a 6-2 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers in Matchweek 2.
4) Antonee Robinson (Fulham)
As the USMNT defender’s reputation continues to grow as a result of his performances with Fulham, Robinson has been playing at his best over the past two seasons. The 27-year-old defender, who was born in Milton Keynes, finally chose to stay at Craven Cottage despite strong summertime interest from Manchester United and Liverpool.
5) Bukayo Saka (Arsenal)
Bukayo Ayoyinka. Temidayo Saka (born September 5, 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays right wing for Premier League side Arsenal and the English national team. He is recognised as one of the top players in the world because to his creativity, dribbling ability, and work ethic.
6) Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

When Salah was linked with a potential move away from Liverpool in the summer after seven seasons at Anfield, it was with the expectation that Slot might look to take his new side in a different direction. Instead, the 32-year-old has remained at the core of Liverpool’s title charge, scoring and assisting at both a remarkable rate and consistency.
He tops the Premier League charts for goal involvements with a combined 14 and sits second for both goals scored (eight) and assists (six).

8) Danny Welbeck (Brighton & Hove Albion)
The former Manchester United and Arsenal forward scored in Brighton’s first match of the season, a 3-0 victory against Everton, and has not looked back since, adding five more goals and two assists to rank among the league’s most dangerous scorers.
9) Yoane Wissa (Brentford)
Yoane Wissa is a professional footballer who plays forward or left wing for Premier League team Brentford. He was born in France and currently plays for the DR Congo national team on an international level.
10) Chris Wood (Nottingham Forest)
Wood, who is now playing for his fifth Premier League club, has had the most productive start to a season in his long career, scoring eight goals and behind only Haaland in the Golden Boot stakes.
Those eight goals were scored at a remarkable conversion rate of 38.1% from 21 shots, and his four goals in Forest’s three October league matches earned him the title of EA SPORTS Player of the Month, making him the club’s first player and New Zealander to do so.
