A Lakers One Game Away from Championships after Going Up 3-1 against Miami Heat.
For the first time this postseason, the Miami Heat face a potential elimination scenario after losing Game 4 to the Los Angeles Lakers to fall to a 3-1 series deficit in the NBA Finals.
Los Angeles Lakers: 3 reasons Why LA will win the 2020 NBA championship
According to BetMGM, the Heat will enter the contest Friday as 7.5-point underdogs, and will presumably again be missing Goran Dragic due to a left foot injury. Dragic wanted to participate in Game 4 but noticed that after playing in pre-game warmups, he was unable to go.
The Lakers drew first blood at the end of the first quarter as they inched ahead at 27-22, but the Heat battled back and took the lead in the second quarter at 33-39 as Butler climbed into double digits. Nonetheless, when the Lakers took a two-point advantage at the end of the first half, the Heat could not hold onto their advantage. The Lakers easily rounded out the game as James and Davis strengthened their shooting from distance in the second half.

In the meantime, on Friday, the Lakers will look to win their 17th championship and take the court sporting their “Black Mamba” jerseys, designed by the late Kobe Bryant. When wearing those uniforms, the Lakers are 4-0 in play.
