Arsenal have waited a long time to lift the Premier League after 22 years!!

On the last day of the 2025–26 season, Arsenal defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 thanks to goals from Gabriel Jesus and Noni Madueke, followed by a late response from Jean-Philippe Mateta. With 85 points, the greatest defence in the league, and a record-breaking season without a penalty or red card—their first Premier League victory since 2003–04—they had won the title a week earlier.

In front of 7.3 million live viewers, Mikel Arteta savoured the moment while celebrities like Bukayo Saka beamed with the trophy, Declan Rice posed triumphantly, and new signing Viktor Gyökeres flashed his hushed celebration. When spending the previous five days revelling in the euphoria of winning, our players finally had the opportunity to toast their triumph when the season ended with our match against Crystal Palace.

Emmanuel Nmecha, a player and representative for our North London United Down’s Syndrome squad, gave Martin the trophy after Mikel Arteta led his side to the podium to get their winners’ medals.

Arsenal’s players were forced to go to the dressing room after their 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace, as the home team conducted their post-season ritual. While the travelling Arsenal supporters held a private party in their section of the Arthur Wait Stand, Palace chairman Steve Parish begged for silence as he presented several club trophies.

There were just 2,687 Arsenal supporters at Selhurst Park, according to the official allocation. There were actually a lot more. Some Arsenal supporters watched from the roof of the adjoining Sainsbury’s, while others sneaked into the home end.
