Al Nassr failed in an attempt to sign Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes.
The future of Bruno Fernandes is now again up for debate. The Portuguese midfielder is not presently in negotiations with any Saudi Arabian team, despite recent rumours to the contrary. Fabrizio Romano claims that Al-Nassr and the Manchester United player are not currently in communication.

Big European stars have long been coveted by Saudi football, and Bruno Fernandes has been considered by several Saudi clubs, especially following Al Hilal’s attempt last summer. The Portuguese made it apparent at the time that he would not be leaving Old Trafford, turning down any offer that would have moved him away from the English team.
Contact was made through intermediaries, but there was no formal approach to Man Utd from Al Nassr, whose captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, is a Portugal team-mate of Fernandes.
