By paying Atletico a total of almost €32 million, Porto just obtained complete ownership of the forward’s economic rights, granting them more influence over any future sale. Although Aghehowa has a €100 million release clause, Porto might be open to negotiating a deal for about €60 million.

The Growing Popularity of Aghehowa in Europe
Samu Aghehowa is only 22 years old, yet he has already displayed glimpses of elite ability. He played in 30 league games for Porto last season, recording 19 goals and three assists. Though those figures are remarkable on their own, they take on much more significance when considering his results in European competition. He tied for the second-highest goal total in the Europa League with six goals, including a memorable brace against Manchester United.
