
IND vs ENG 2025 ODI series: Head-to-head records in ODI cricket
After winning the T20I series 4-1, India will welcome England for a three-match ODI series starting Thursday, February 6. The opening match will be in Nagpur, followed by the second and third ODIs in Cuttack and Ahmedabad.
The series acts as India and England’s penultimate preparation for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, which occurs later this month. Before we get started, let’s look at India’s record in one-day internationals at the three scheduled locations.

IND versus ENG 1st ODI at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur: The first One-Day International will take place at Nagpur’s Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium. Since its inaugural ODI in 2009 (India versus Australia), the venue has hosted six ODIs, five of which India has won and one of which it has lost.
IND vs ENG 2nd ODI at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack: The second ODI will be played at Cuttack’s Barabati Stadium, which is one of India’s oldest cricket venues. The first ODI at this stadium was held in 1982.
IND vs ENG 3rd ODI at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad: The last one-day international will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium, India’s largest cricket arena. Motera Cricket Stadium was renamed in 2021.
