Anderlecht are keen on hiring Tottenham assistant coach Ryan Mason as their new manager, according to HLN.
The Belgian daily stated via their website on 8 October that the 33-year-old is “clearly in the picture to become” the Brussels club’s new manager after Mark van Bommel fell out of the running.
Mason completed his second stint as Tottenham’s interim manager before being named as one of Ange Postecoglou’s assistants in June 2023.
Ryan Mason might move to Anderlecht from Tottenham. Mason, who retired from football in 2018, has held several coaching positions at Tottenham despite only being 33 years old.

He rejoined the team in August 2020 and worked as a young coach until taking on the role of head of player development in November 2021. However, Mason could be tempted by the prospect of taking the reins at Anderlecht in what would be his first full-time senior managerial role.

According to HLN, he is “highly regarded in coaching circles” and could display his tactical acumen at Anderlecht, who are without a manager after sacking Brian Riemer in September.
Anderlecht are playing in the UEFA Europa League and, like Tottenham, have won each of their two games so far.
With the club also in the mix for the Belgian Pro League title, Mason’s head could already be turned.
