Now that the October international break is approaching, 18 senior Liverpool players have been called up to represent their countries.

The Reds defeated Crystal Palace 1-0 on the road to round off the first half of the season. They will play Chelsea at home on October 20.

Between now and then, a busy two weeks will be ahead for 18 members of Arne Slot’s first team squad who are participating in different international matches.

Kostas Tsimikas was called up by England to play against Greece and Finland, leaving Trent Alexander-Arnold as the lone Liverpool player in the team.

 

 

Conor Bradley has been called up to Northern Ireland’s squad to face Belarus and Bulgaria, while Caoimhin Kelleher’s Republic of Ireland will also play Finland and Greece. Ronald Koeman’s Netherlands team, led by Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch, and Cody Gakpo, will play Germany and Hungary in the UEFA Nations League.
