Instagram is one of the most popular social media networks used by marketers to connect with their audiences. It is also the most popular social network for most influencer marketing platforms, with many influencers in different niches and more emerging each day.
Almost all brands and marketers have, at some point, working with an influencer or have plans to. And, most prefer working with smaller influencers who are more authentic and affordable.

The study also turned up the following information:
19 soccer players are among the top 25 athletes with the highest Instagram post earnings. Fascinatingly, no NFL or F1 athletes rank among the top 25.
The MMA star Ronda Rousey was voted the highest-paid female athlete on Instagram, receiving between $141k and $191k for each sponsored post. Serena Williams was close behind in second place, earning an estimated $139k–$188k each post.
The LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne has been named Instagram’s highest-paid college athlete, earning between $31.9k and $43.2k each post.
Seven of the top ten college athletes who have the potential to make the most money on Instagram are female.
