Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings are set to battle against each other in their next encounter of IPL 2022.
The fate of the Rajasthan Royals is in their own hands; after a couple of lackluster seasons, the Royals have found themselves not only in the top four but also with a great chance to finish in the top two. The Chennai Super Kings, who have nothing to lose, is all that stands between them and Qualifier 1 vs Gujarat Titans.
CSK, the defending champions, have won just four games in 13 games, a far cry from their title-winning form. Neither their bowling nor their batting has come together to provide a threat to the opposition, and the season has been a disappointment for a variety of reasons.
In their previous IPL 2022 encounter, Rajasthan Royals defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 24 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal, who batted first in the encounter, smashed 41 runs to get Rajasthan Royals off to a solid start. RR went on to score 178-6 after Sanju Samson got 32 and Devdutt Padikka hit 39.
