Team India‘s 14th consecutive Test series win at home.
India won the series 1-0 by defeating New Zealand by 372 runs on the fourth day of the second and final Test at the Wankhede Stadium.
The 337-run triumph over South Africa at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi in 2015 was India’s greatest by-runs margin in Tests.

Jayant Yadav took four wickets on Day 4 and R Ashwin dismissed Henry Nicholls to help India win the second and final Test against New Zealand in Mumbai by a whopping 324 runs. Rachin Ravindra, Kyle Jamieson, Tim Southee, and William Somerville were the first four wickets to fall to Jayant, while Henry Nicholls was the final nail in the coffin for Ashwin. The Indian spin duo’s efforts resulted in New Zealand being bowled out for 167, giving the hosts a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.
Ashwin completed his own four-wicket haul in the next over, tempting Nicholls to come down the track, before deceiving him with spin – Wriddhiman Saha completed an excellent stumping, and the victory was sealed.
The margin of victory is India’s highest ever on home soil.
