Liam Hughes has signed a new contract with Liverpool FC.
Liverpool is working on multiple fronts on transfer deadline day and another young goalkeeper has been added to the collection for the Under-23s. The goalkeeper joined the Reds in January to strengthen the U23 squad.
In February, he made his U23s debut in a 4-0 win over Arsenal before being selected on the bench for the main team’s match against Sheffield United the following day.

The 19-year-old Northern Ireland U21 international has been called up to the senior teams for the previous two matches, including last week’s matches against Malta and Ukraine.
