England will tour Pakistan next October for two Twenty20 internationals in Karachi.
The England cricket team will depart in October 2021 for their first tour of Pakistan since 2005, where they will play two T20Is in Karachi.
Both teams will travel to India on Oct. 16 for the T20 World Cup, the England and Wales Cricket Board announced on Wednesday, after arrival on October 12 and playing back-to-back Twenty20s on Oct. 14 and 15.
Harrison said that the ECB is working closely with the Pakistan Cricket Board to ensure the safety and security of its team and “of course the situation regarding the fast-moving and ever-changing COVID-19 pandemic.”

The PCB hopes that the short tour of England will demonstrate Pakistan’s potential to host international matches and will inspire tourists in the 2022-23 season to tour Pakistan.

The T20Is of October 2021 will allow the leading cricketers in England to access and analyze the world-class arrangements we will put together, which will give them more motivation and trust not only to return in 2022-23 but also to express their interest in the Super League of Pakistan,” PCB CEO Wasim Khan Khan said.
Despite international travel restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic this year, Pakistan was able to tour England and play three test matches and three Twenty20s at Manchester.
