The Mumbai Indians have dominated KKR in the history of IPL and they would certainly like to maintain their record and reach the top of the table.
The men from Rohit Sharma are looking for their fifth straight win, having cruised to victory since October began in all four sports. All the batsmen have lifted their hands through various matches, their fast bowlers have the most wickets among all teams, after a slow start, the spinners have recovered their mojo, and they still have one foot in the playoffs with half the league stage remaining.

This season, the Knight Riders were reasonably competitive, even winning a few games that they had no business winning, but their defeats were mostly blowouts. Narine did not play the game of Knight Riders versus Royal Challengers Bangalore and spoke to the broadcasters from their captain and coach Brendon McCullum in that game indicating it had to do with the warning he got for suspicious action. Kolkata Knight Riders, on the other hand, are playing some decent cricket in the tournament but faced a heavy defeat in their last game. The action of Sunil Narine is under scrutiny and he is certainly a big miss for this side. The likes of Shubhman Gill and Eoin Morgan need to step up in batting whereas the bowlers need to take some responsibility as well. This is going to be a tough game for the Knights.
