Incidentally, this amount was more than the amount received by former Indian coach Anil Kumble. While Kumble’s salary was Rs 6.5 crore, Shastri’s will touch the 8 crore mark.
As per latest reports in the media, The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to pay newly appointed coach Ravi Shastri an astounding salary of Rs 8 crore per annum. As per reliable sources, apparently, the top brass of BCCI had agreed on the decision.
Meanwhile, as far as the three other coaches in the support are concerned, the trio of Bharat Arun, R Sridhar and Sanjay Bangar are expected to earn between a sum of Rs 2,3 crore.
