Harry Kane says his interest in returning to the Premier League has cooled, and he is willing to open talks with Bayern Munich about a new contract.
Harry Kane, who paid £86.4 million to move from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023, is halfway through his four-year contract.
The 32-year-old helped the German team win the 2024–25 Bundesliga title, his first career honour, with 103 goals in 106 games. Kane needs 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League scoring record of 260, and Tottenham manager Thomas Frank has stated that he would like to see Kane return to England.
“I made it clear a few weeks ago that I haven’t had such discussions with Bayern yet, but I would be open to speaking and having an open discussion if they came up.
“Obviously, everything depends on how things work out over the course of the next year and what we accomplish as a team. I think we are in a great moment right now, and I am not thinking about anything else.
