According to research by Bookies.com, TD Garden charges the highest price for beer in the NBA.
Ranking the NBA’s most expensive drinks, two teams tie for the top! Costing $1.08 per oz., you’ll find the costliest beer at the Golden State Warriors’ Chase Center and Boston Celtics’ TD Garden. No other stadium charges more than a dollar per ounce!
At the other end of our list, the Cleveland Cavaliers ($0.33) have the cheapest beverages in the NBA – you can get three beers at the Cavs for the cost of one at the Warriors – alongside the Oklahoma City Thunder ($0.38), Detroit Pistons ($0.42), and Atlanta Hawks ($0.42).

At the most expensive location — San Francisco — a family of Warriors fans can expect to pay around $700 for the full game night experience at the Chase Center. At a Celtics game, the cost of a 16oz. beer is $19.87, making it the most expensive beer at any NBA game. The next most expensive beer is sold at a Warriors game for $19.01. However, the cheapest beer is in Cleveland, where the Cavaliers only charge $5.78 per beer.
This increase in prices is a concerning trend not just for beer but for attending NBA games in general. According to Axios’ Analis Bailey, the cost of attending an NBA game this year has increased, and it can be a lot more expensive for fans. For instance, a family of four at a Celtics game may spend an average of $536.69 for four of the cheapest available tickets, a parking spot, two beers, two sodas, and four hot dogs. This cost is higher than last season’s cost of $472.00 due to Jaylen Brown’s record-breaking new contract.
