The reigning Kia NBA MVP and Atlanta’s All-Star guard take home the honors for Week 24.

Jokic and Young have been selected Players of the Week twice this season, the first time on January 24. Despite the fact that Jokic is one of the MVP frontrunners, it’s Young’s third Player of the Week win of the season and only Jokic’s second.

Jokic maintained his quest for a second consecutive MVP award this week, averaging 34.8 points per game, 17.3 rebounds per game, 8.5 assists per game, and 2.0 steals per game in Denver’s four games, three of which were triumphs. He scored at least 37 points three times and grabbed at least 18 rebounds three times in those games.

Young led the Hawks to four straight victories from March 28 to April 3, averaging a double-double (30.3 points per game, 10.8 assists per game) on.462/.359/.921 shooting in 32.3 minutes per game. Atlanta has moved up to eighth place in the Eastern Conference after a 4-0 week. If the club maintains its position in the standings this week, it will have two chances to qualify for the play-in event.
