Lewandowski wins the Striker of the Year award.
Robert Lewandowski was named Striker of the Year at the 2021 Ballon d’Or presentation, which took place on Monday at the Chatelet Theatre in Paris. France Football has already announced that two additional prizes would be awarded at the Ballon d’Or gala this year. Last year’s price was expected to go to Lewandowski, but the magazine opted to cancel it because of the COVID-19 outbreak.
As a result, France Football agreed to include this new honor in the 2021 edition, along with the Club of the Year award, which Chelsea won.
