Mahendra Singh Dhoni becomes the CEO of an oil company for one day said Arun Pandey

Dhoni’s close friend and commercial interests manager, Arun Pandey, revealed that the company and Mahi have been planning this day for a long time and finally were able to execute it.

MS Dhoni appointed as ‘CEO of the day’ by an oil company on Monday, and a beaming picture of the former India skipper while being seated in the CEO’s chair was tweeted by the firm.

“As a CEO of the company for the day, Mahi has attended all the special meetings of the company. He will also take quite a few decisions, just like a real CEO,” Pandey was quoted as saying by Sportstar.

The company tweeted a picture of the former India skipper in the CEO’s chair. He also attended special meetings of the company throughout the day to get a feel of corporate life.

Dhoni has been associated with the automobile lubricant since 2011 when he was named the brand ambassador of Gulf Oil.

“Mahi’s association with the company goes back a long way, and for a long time, he also wanted to understand how a corporate CEO works. He wanted to try this out too.” Pandey added.

It came as a surprise to the employees of the company when the Ranchi-born wicketkeeper batsman walked into their office, that too as a CEO.
