India vs NZ, 3rd T20I: Upbeat India target series win against New Zealand in Guwahati!
India vs NZ: India now has the opportunity to complete the five-match Twenty20 International series after dominating New Zealand in the first two games. On Sunday, January 25, India, led by Suryakumar Yadav, will play Mitchell Santner’s New Zealand team in the third Twenty20 International at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. After decisive victories in Nagpur and Raipur, India already leads 2-0, and the visitors will need to mount a formidable comeback to remain in the series.
As the World Cup draws near, New Zealand has yet to field their full-strength starting lineup. After playing for the Perth Scorchers in the final, Finn Allen, who is on a six-hitting streak in the Big Bash League (BBL), will join the team. He will probably only be available for the last Twenty20 International in Thiruvananthapuram. All-rounder Jimmy Neesham, who recently won the Bangladesh Premier League, will also join the New Zealand team before the third Twenty20 International in Guwahati. Lockie Ferguson, a fast bowler, has already joined the team but is recovering from a calf injury.
