Yuvraj Singh invites for Canada Super 60 at BC Place

The Inaugural edition of the Canada Super 60 tournament is commencing on the 8th of October, with Brampton Blitz taking on Toronto Sixers in the opening match of the competition at BC Place Stadium, Vancouver.

On Tuesday, October 8, 2025, the first-ever ten-over-a-side cricket competition, the Canada Super 60, will take place at BC Place in Vancouver, one of the most recognisable venues in North America. For the first time, both men’s and women’s contests will begin together in a global cricket league, showcasing Canada’s growing presence in world cricket and reinforcing its commitment to inclusiveness, diversity, and sporting excellence.

According to a press release, the week-long event will include top Canadian talent alongside some of the biggest names in cricket, including Suresh Raina, Shikhar Dhawan, Shoaib Malik, Shakib Al Hasan, and Jason Roy.

Yuvraj Singh, Global Ambassador – Canada Super 60, said in a statement, “It is an incredible feeling to see the Canada Super 60 finally take shape. Cricket at BC Place — a venue that’s iconic in its own right — is something truly special. What excites me most is the quality of players who are coming here and the fact that this tournament celebrates both men’s and women’s cricket from day one.”

The tournament will be played in a 60-ball (T10 format).

Six teams are participating in the Canada Super 60. They are:

1. Brampton Blitz

2. Mississauga Masters

3. Montreal Royal Tigers

4. Toronto Sixers

5. Vancouver Kings

6. Whiterock Warriors

A total of 19 matches, including the Final, will take place in the competition. The top 4 placed teams after the league stages will go on to face each other in the semi-finals, which will be played on the 13th of October. The Final Match will be played between the winners of these matches on the same day.

Superstars such as Quinton de Kock, Sikandar Raza, Shakib Al Hasan, Alex Hales, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Khawaja Nafay, Will Smeed and Jason Roy are taking part in the exciting Canada Super 60 2025.
