
Future Stars Shining socred century in ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy has become a festival of centuries, with batters taking advantage of good conditions to light up the event. This season has already had 11 centuries, the most in the Champions Trophy, breaking previous records of 10 tonnes in 2002 and 2017.
The tone was established early on, as Will Young and Tom Latham led New Zealand to a dominant victory over Pakistan. Their centuries assured that the Black Caps began their campaign on a solid footing.

The previous best in an edition was ten centuries, achieved in 2002 and 2017.
Will Young, Tom Latham, Towhid Hridoy, Shubman Gill, Ryan Rickelton, Ben Duckett, Josh Inglis, Virat Kohli, Rachin Ravindra, and Ibrahim Zadran are the remaining centurions in this season.
This was also Root’s first hundred in 50-over cricket since 2019. His latest century came against the West Indies at the 2019 World Cup in England.
