
Stephen Curry passes Norm Nixon for 33rd most assists in NBA history.
The Golden State Warriors begin the second part of their six-game road trip on Monday night, looking to improve their record after going 1-2 in the first three games. They will face the Milwaukee Bucks. Fortunately for Golden State, the Bucks are without star forward Giannis Antentokounmpo due to injury, but it doesn’t guarantee a close game.

While the Jimmy Butler era has begun in Golden State, with 25 points in his debut against the Chicago Bulls, Steph Curry remains the team’s star. Curry seems to be making NBA history every week at this point, and he did it again in the first half against the Bucks.

With four assists entering halftime against the Bucks, Steph Curry has moved into 33rd place on the NBA’s all-time assists list, passing Norm Nixon. Nixon spent ten years in the NBA in the 1970s and 1980s, with his highest single-season average of 11.1 per game.
Curry, who is not known for dishing out assists in large numbers, has averaged 6.4 assists per game across his 16 seasons in the NBA. Draymond Green has been Golden State’s key playmaker in recent years, despite having a career-best single-season average of 8.5.
