Boston Celtics beat the Brooklyn Nets in an ugly 108-104 OT win with poor shooting and ball movement.
The Boston Celtics hosted the Brooklyn Netts in the hopes of getting back in the win column after losing to the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday (Nov. 6). They were met with a cohesive, hard-playing Netts squad that punched them in the mouth early on, jumping out to a 14-point advantage. Both teams failed to connect from deep for much of the game, shooting less than 30% from three.

It was a shocking, high-energy game, as Boston struggled to keep up with Brooklyn on the glass, losing the rebounding battle 51-39. However, the Celtics managed to win 108-104 in overtime thanks to Jayson Tatum’s heroics (33 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists). Big games from Jrue Holiday (17 points, 5 assists) and Payton Pritchard (20 points) kept Boston afloat.

Derrick White (14 points, 6 assists) and Al Horford (13 points, 10 rebounds) also contributed to the Celtics’ victory, despite poor ball movement and player intensity.
