Bronny James scored his first NBA basket for the Los Angeles Lakers in a 134-110 defeat by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Evan Mobley scored 25 points and Donovan Mitchell added 24 as the Cavaliers won five straight, their best start to a season since 2016-17.
LeBron James, 39, who previously played two seasons in Cleveland, and his son Bronny, 20, made history last week by becoming the first father-son tandem to share the court in an NBA game during the Lakers’ season opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

He added: “To see him get his first NBA basket in this arena, where he grew up not too far from here – it’s an unbelievable moment.”
Bronny entered the game against the Cavaliers with just over five minutes remaining and scored his first NBA points on a step-back, 14-foot shot over Tristan Thompson. He missed a three-pointer with less than a minute left, while his father had 26 points, six rebounds, and six turnovers.
Meanwhile, Pascal Siakam hit a game-winning three-pointer with 7.3 seconds left in overtime to help the Indiana Pacers beat the Boston Celtics 135-132 in Indianapolis.
