The La Liga team announced on Monday that France striker Kylian Mbappe had signed a five-year contract with Real Madrid as a free agent, bringing an end to the protracted transfer process that lasted for years before the European champions signed their newest “Galactico”.
“Kylian Mbappe and Real Madrid have reached an agreement whereby he will be a Real Madrid player for the next five seasons,” the 15-time European Cup winners announced in a statement.

When Mbappe’s PSG contract expires on June 30, he will go to Real Madrid in July. However, before he joins the France team for the European Championship in Germany, the striker will make an announcement.
