Pep Guardiola’s win makes it a 2023/24 Man City awards double after Phil Foden was named the EA SPORTS Player of the Season.
Tuesday saw Pep Guardiola win Premier League Manager of the Year after leading Manchester City to an unprecedented fourth straight championship.
Since joining the team in 2016, the Spanish coach has previously taken home four wins of the accolade. He is currently tied for the second-most successful coach in English football history with six league titles. Guardiola claims he “will defend” his Manager of the Season title in 2024–2025, but he prefers to split the honour with his colleagues nominees who encouraged Man City to perform at its highest level this season.
