Yesterday the match played between KERALA BLASTERS AND DELHI DYNAMOS is quite interesting. KERLA BLASTERS secured their first point in the Hero Indian Super League after playing out a goalless draw at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Sunday.
Both teams search for Goal but the result came with a countless draw. KERLA BLASTERS had their chances to kill the game but for the third successive match, their striker are blank in the field.
Kerala Blasters manager STEVE COPPELL opted to start with three foreign players up front, handing MICHAEL CHOPRA his first start of the season. Chopra had the Blasters’ first effort on goal in the 12th minute but failed to hit the target.
Chopra’s miss in the first half. It was the best chance of the game for him to score the goal against the opponent team. But the striker will be disappointed with himself for not finding the back of the net. However, both the teams defended solidly.
The Dynamos could have taken the lead against the run of the play in the 21st minute after a FLORENT MALOUDA free-kick found Badara Badji in the game. Senegalese forward tried to guide Malouda’s free-kick goal-wards but couldn’t find a proper connection as the ball trickled over the line for a goal-kick.
Both teams were making rash challenges that resulted in free-kicks and cards. Delhi suffered a blow early in the second half after a nasty clash resulted in Doblas’ withdrawal from the match.
