At the next IPL 2022 Auction, Aakash Chopra has chosen the five most expensive Indian bowlers. Some of the most well-known bowlers who did not make the list are Shardul Thakur, Harshal Patel, and Mohammed Shami.

Here are the 5 picks from the video shared on his YouTube channel:

5) Prasidh Krishna:

Prasidh Krishna is an Indian cricketer who currently represents Karnataka in domestic cricket and the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League. He is a right-arm fast bowler who consistently bowls at rates of more than 140 kilometers per hour.

He elaborated Prasidh Krishna’s name at number five for two reasons. He is now also a member of the Indian national team. He possesses two or three unique qualities that no one else possesses. His height – point of release is exceptional, he has the speed, and he now has two to three years of experience.”

4) Avesh Khan:

I’ve kept Avesh Khan, a player whose name has only recently entered the team. His previous year was outstanding, as was the year before that. He bowls with both the new and old balls and bats ahead of Ishant and Umesh. His distinguishing feature is that the ball flies high and fast off his bat.”

He averaged 145kph, with the quickest being 149, matching the speed of his teammates Rabada and Nortje.

3) Rahul Chahar:

He began his career as a fast bowler before realizing his true strength was in spinning the ball.

“I maintained Rahul Chahar at number three. I have preserved his name despite the fact that there are several spinners. Rahul Chahar is a tried and true consumer who has represented Mumbai in exceedingly modest fields. I believe he has been treated unfairly; he was a member of the Indian World Cup team but was not selected after that.”

2) Yuzvendra Chahal:

The Haryana leg-spinner, 31, who has also competed at a national level in chess, is one of the few international cricketers practicing an unconventional and challenging trade these days. He’s played 59 games and taken 99 wickets with a strike rate of 32.19 and an economy rate of 27.88. In his five-year ODI career, he has two five-wicket hauls after making his debut against Zimbabwe in Harare in June 2016.

I kept Yuzvendra Chahal at number two. He’s a gun bowler, however, his scores have been declining in recent months. The last IPL season’s second half was spectacular. He is brilliant in terms of pedigree, performance, and promise.”

1) Deepak Chahar:

Former India batter Aakash Chopra believes that fast bowler Deepak Chahar will command a high price at the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction, particularly for Chennai Super Kings (CSK). On February 12 and 13, the IPL auction will take place.

One went in India’s favor and the other didn’t, but Deepak Chahar’s efforts will be celebrated and remembered for a long.

Deepak Chahar is at No. 1 on my list. With the new ball, he is a wicket-taker. There is no other Indian bowler like him; in the first three overs, he is a bank, and you can break the opponent’s back. At the end of the day, he’ll be OK, but you’ll be fine.”
