India vs New Zealand Super 12 match will be played on Super Sunday.

Team India participated in a unique training drill in Dubai on Saturday, ahead of their match against New Zealand in the Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup. Both the ‘Men in Blue’ and the Kiwis were defeated by Pakistan in their first games and will be looking for their first win when they meet on Sunday at the Dubai International Stadium. The International Cricket Council (ICC) shared a video on their Instagram account on Sunday showing Indian players participating in an unusual drill.

However, though the Kiwis enjoyed a great run vs India in the shortest format of the game till 2016 – having never lost a T20I to the Men in Blue till that year, since 2016 they have lost 8 out of 11 games played.

In their first match of the Super 10 stage, India was soundly defeated by Pakistan. India will try to get their combination perfect against a well-balanced New Zealand team in what is being considered as a virtual knockout encounter by many.

India and New Zealand have met 17 times in T20Is, with 8 victories each and one draw. The Blackcaps, on the other hand, have won both of their World Cup games against the ‘Men in Blue.’

India, on the other hand, has recently trounced New Zealand, winning each of the last five matches in the shortest format of the game.
