Manchester City will make signing a new striker a priority in the January transfer window after failing to do so during the summer transfer window.

According to Vivo Per Lei, City had a strong interest in the Serbian international during the summer transfer window.

The youngster, who scored 21 goals in 37 Serie A appearances last season, is also connected with a move to Juventus, demonstrating how many big-name European powers are keeping a watch on his progress.

Fiorentina are apparently interested in signing the striker to a new deal that would run until 2026 and include a €70 million release clause that would only be triggered if he left the club.
Meanwhile, another striker that City are reportedly prepared to turn to is Real Sociedad ace Mikel Oyarzabal.
