Denis Law CBE is a former forward in the Scottish national football team. In 1956, he began his football career with Huddersfield Town of the Second Division. He was signed by Manchester City for an estimated transfer fee of £55,000 after four years at Huddersfield, which was a new British record.
Following a British record transfer arrival from Torino, Denis Law scored seven minutes into his United debut in 1962. He went on to win the Ballon d’Or after scoring 46 goals in 1963/64, which is still a club record for a single season.

Sir Robert Charlton CBE is a former English footballer who played in the midfield position. He was a member of the England team that won the FIFA World Cup in 1966, the same year he won the Ballon d’Or.
