Nobody expected that a Tuesday match would become one of the thrilling events of the season, from the victory of Chelsea against West Ham to the Wolves’ late penalty. However, the intense match of both teams also highlighted some of their best players.

Chelsea vs West Ham, 3-0

Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham cleared that he is not concerned with the league’s table. This is because his two goals already helped the team to score a solid 3-0 victory against West Ham in late December last year. Before the match, the Blues were in the ninth position. The night ended with the team landing on the fifth position.

‘We needed a performance, I need to be in the right places at the right times, we had to stay patient but luckily we got the three points. I need to help the team with either goals or assists or just being a threat. It’s about to keep getting goals, keep being in the right place’, Abraham said.

‘It’s still early doors to be looking at the table, we have to just keep picking up three points. West Ham are a great side, they have been great this year and we had to be patient for the second and third goals’, he added.

The result of the match also made football betting on Premier League more exciting, especially to the fans of Chelsea.

Wolves vs Burnley, 2-1

On the other hand, Wolverhampton’s head coach Nuno Espirito Santo conveyed that he does not think that referee Lee Mason is not good enough for the Premier League after Wolves’ 2-1 defeat against Burnley.

During the match, Ashley Barnes scored his first goal followed by Chris Wood’s second from a close range in the second half. On the other hand, Mason gave the Wolves a late penalty which was converted by Fabio Silva.

The Wolves’ manager did not directly blame the referee but stated that they were expecting a tough game. However, the team’s defense was not good enough to score a goal. Sean Dyche, Burnley’s manager, also said that he was disappointed because of Silva’s late penalty.

‘With the number of chances we created we possibly should have been in control earlier. Otherwise, it was a great performance. We operated well at both ends of the pitch’, Dyche stated.

The Wolves did have a good match. In fact, there are a lot of attempts to score a goal. It’s just that Burnley had a better defense. The team also has the potential to win because players such as Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho were on their side. However, both players also moved the ball around dangerously.

Burnley beats Wolves by 2-1 to lift themselves out of the relegation zone.

‘Honestly, I don’t like to say it, but I must say it because I will not feel right: the referee does not have the quality to whistle a game in the Premier League. This is a problem that we knew. We already had Lee Mason before. It is not about the crucial mistakes or the decisions, it is about the way that he handles the game’, Nuno said. He also said that Lee Mason does not have the quality to whistle the game.

With the intense recent match, there is no doubt that football betting on Premier League is very much alive. Tune in and place your bets on the latest odds!
