Jürgen Klopp has been named as the Northwest Football Awards’ Manager of the Season for 2019-20.

Since leading Liverpool to the Premier League title last season, the manager collected the accolade on Monday evening, their first championship at 30 yards.

Paul Cook (Wigan Athletic), Sean Dyche (Burnley), and Ian Evatt (Barrow AFC) were outplayed to the price by Klopp.

Meanwhile, as the winner of the Lifetime Contribution to North West Football award, club legend Ian St John was announced.

In total Liverpool was nominated in seven categories but saw Jordan Henderson miss out on Player of the Season to Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne.
