Tottenham have agreed on a fee with Swansea for defender Joe Rodon. Spurs are set to pay £15m with add-ons to bring the Wales international to North London.
In a contract worth a record £11 million ($15 million), Tottenham have signed Wales defender Joe Rodon from Swansea. Just before the deadline for moves between Premier League clubs and lower league teams closed on Friday, Rodon settled on a five-year deal with Tottenham.
For several weeks, the 22-year-old center-back has become a Tottenham priority and it took 10 days for the Championship side to agree before the deal was actually done.

During the latest international break, Rodon started all of Wales’ matches and will be united at Tottenham with compatriots Gareth Bale and Ben Davies. On 17 August 2018, he made his debut in the third game of the 2018/19 Championship campaign against Preston and went on to make 28 appearances that year.
He followed up last season with 21 starts and won his first cap for Wales on 6 September 2019 in a 2-1 win over Azerbaijan in European Championship qualifying.
Joe, who turns 23 next week, has played five Swansea matches so far in 2020/21 and started all three of Wales’ matches against England, Republic of Ireland, and Bulgaria during the international break to raise his caps tally to seven.
