ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC has seemingly revealed the identity of his next club as Hammarby – but the Swedish side denies a deal is done.
The legendary striker, 38, left LA Galaxy at the end of the MLS season and there was plenty of speculation over where he would go next.
But it appears he has tried to end the rumors with his latest Instagram post.
The video – simply tagged “@hammarbyfotboll” – shows the green-and-white shirt of the Swedish top-flight club and then the view from behind with ‘Ibrahimovic’ written across the back.
Ibra is a legend at Malmo, his hometown club, so it is unclear if this is purely another publicity stunt or a genuine next step. There is nothing on Hammarby’s social media just yet to confirm the transfer and their communications manager Axel Pershagen insists it is not finalized.
He said: “Zlatan has not joined us yet. If he had signed a contract it would be on our website.”

Over recent months, sensational reports have linked Ibrahimovic with moves back to Europe, specifically Manchester United and AC Milan.
“It doesn’t make sense to sign him when we have Harry Kane,” Mourinho, who has managed Ibrahimovic at Inter and Manchester United, said on Monday.
The ex-Sweden international scored 30 goals in 29 matches during his final season with the LA Galaxy, finishing four behind Los Angeles FC striker Carlos Vela in the golden boot standings.
